Fog in the month of Joishtho! Due to this, the ferry service from Shimulia to Banglabazar and Majhirkandi was closed for two hours today.
Authorities suspended traffic from 5am on Monday. At that time, four ferries with loads were waiting at Shimulia wharf waiting for the fog to clear. When the fog finally cleared, the ferries left the wharf one by one around 8:30 am.
