Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today extended her heartiest congratulation to Bangladesh national cricket team for making a history by winning the first-ever ODI series against South Africa on its soil.
The visiting Bangladesh has won the three-match one day international (ODI) series against South Africa by 2-1.
In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coach and officials of the national cricket team and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for beating South Africa.
She also expressed the hope that the winning spree of Bangladesh cricket team will continue in future.
Bangladesh registered a historic win in the first ODI defeating South Africa by 38 runs and the third one by nine wickets while lose the second one day by seven wickets.
